After a weekend camping in the desert my son and I jumped off the 14 to hit this desert oddity.

Spent the weekend camping in Red Rock Canyon State Park. On Saturday we drove out to Burro Schmidt Tunnel with a stop at Bickel Camp. If desert oddities are on your list, I recommend both.
This particular plaque was at the tunnel. One of the guys I went with sent me an email asking me to google “E Clampus Vitus” which made the thing even cooler. This is my kind of club:
