Wildlife roster:
Small Rabbits, hares, elephant seals (pretty sure), sea lions, seals, sea otters, whales, hawks, 3 vultures picking at a dead shark carcass, beached whale carcass, snakes (several different kinds), squirrels, chipmunks, bear sign (no sightings). The weather, was cool and foggy most of the time with infrequent sun. If you like backpacking I recommend this hike wholeheartedly. Read the guides thoroughly, timing the tides is necessary, and it is rough on joints.
